The fixation station
Given that I'm autistic, I obviously come with a LOT of personal interests. This list is hopefully exhaustive, but no promises. :)
Special interests in the lists below will be underlined.
Each item comes with a short blurb elaborating on it, so this is going to be a LONG page.
I've added bookmark links so you can jump around if you like.

Games (back to top)
Super Mario - I pretty much jump-started my online presence by playing ROM hacks of Super Mario 64, especially those of kaizo difficulty (see my list of accomplishments for more information). As of August 2025, I am officially retired from playing SM64 hacks, and it is unlikely I will come back to the game; however, I do still have an active presence in the community. My favorite Mario title - and favorite video game of all time - eternally remains Super Mario Galaxy, one of the most formative games of my childhood. The ending still makes me cry.
Eternal Towers of Hell - For the uninitiated, EToH is a Roblox obby game where the objective is to climb and complete vertical platforming challenges (towers) of increasing difficulty. As of writing this page, this is my current hyperfixation; see my list of accomplishments for more information.
Touhou Project - I don't remember when exactly I got into Touhou, but it was likely as a side effect of hearing a bunch of the songs through the medium of SM64 hacks. (It might also be because I'm trans, or it might be the other way around? Who knows.) My favorite character is Youmu Konpaku, who I fangirl over to perhaps an unhealthy degree; a plush version of Youmu's Master Swordsman alternate currently resides on my desk; I have several more Fumos at home.
Bug Fables - This is one of my favorite games of all time, and one of my favorite pieces of media in general. I first heard about the game in a Twitter thread a few months after the game released in November 2019, and immediately fell in love then and there; the story is fun and complex, the aesthetics are cute and comfortable, and the characters are super endearing. My favorite characters are Kabbu and Vi. I own all three of the Makeship plushes of Team Snakemouth.
Pokémon - I only got into this about halfway through my teenage years, believe it or not (my first game was Ultra Moon!). Since then, Pokémon has remained one of the more influential medias in my lifetime, and Brionne (this website's namesake, and of whom I have the "Sitting Cuties" plush on my desk) will always be my favorite.
Undertale/Deltarune - The line "Despite everything, it's still you." was my senior quote in high school. 'nough said.
OneShot - I remember crying during the tower sequence the first time I played this game. I think that was probably the most emotionally invested I've ever been in any game, period.
Clone Hero/Guitar Hero/YARG - This is a game I like watching more than playing, as I am laughably terrible at rhythm games of most kinds. YARG (Yet Another Rhythm Game) gets a special mention here as I am a sucker for squeaky clean gameplay.
Cookie Clicker - I've played this game off and on before; I bought the game when it released on Steam in September 2021, and kept the same save file alive for three and a half years until I finally finished unlocking all of the achievements in March 2025.
Movies, shows, and serials (back to top)
The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie - I recognize that I am 22 years old with an open affection for a children's movie that was released when I was a toddler. This is a comfort movie of mine; my childhood babysitter had this movie on VHS and would play it for me pretty much every time I came over. In my adult age, I own the movie on DVD and watch it basically every time I get high.
Delicious in Dungeon (ダンジョン飯) - I was recommended this series by a friend of mine. I'm not normally someone to follow others' media recommendations, but the premise was captivating enough to pull me in, and then the show itself was compelling to keep me attached. I am patiently awaiting season 2 to start releasing, but until then, I will have to bide my time with fanart. A plush of Izutsumi currently resides on my desk.
Gastronauts - I was raised on the Food Network channel, so I got a lot of exposure to competitive cooking shows like Chopped. This show takes that idea and turns it completely on its head by having literal comedians delivering bizarro premises to professional chefs. Immensely entertaining.
17776 and 20020 - I first heard about 17776 when I was in high school. I probably didn't think much of it on the first pass, but subsequent re-reads deepened its impact on me. The characters are as endearing as they are existential, and 20020 only made me like them more.
Calvin and Hobbes - One of the easiest purchases I've ever made was picking up the complete collection the second I saw it at a Barnes & Noble in Dublin, Ohio. I don't think I really need to elaborate further than that.
Real world activities and miscellanea (back to top)
Food and cooking - I love to cook (and eat). Cooking is a love language of mine, which is why I would never pursue a career in cooking. My philosophy is that once you start doing something for money, it removes a good lot of the pleasure in doing it. However...
Weather and related phenomena - ... I am in college for meteorology, which is something I also love. This stems from my childhood, when I was almost fanatically obsessed with the weather personnel on my local morning news stations (to the point I even sent them a letter once when I was in grade school...) My love for meteorology was rekindled by a great channel on YouTube named Weatherbox, whose exploratory videos on major tornadoes helped reignite my passion for this field of study. (Thanks, Steve!)
Nature and photography - I like taking pictures of things sometimes, even though my phone's camera (a Pixel 6) is kinda shoddy.
Baseball - My grandpa and mom were/are both fans of the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians), so naturally, I am too. Go Guards!
Scorigami - Oh hey, it's something Jon Bois made again! I'm not as big on American football as I am on baseball, but I am a giant stats nerd, so scorigami is right at home on this list.
Old hardware - There's just something about big chunky hardware from the '90s that really speaks to me. Everything is too sleek and clean nowadays, which I guess is my most millennial complaint. I miss having a computer with a dedicated CD slot.
Item collection - I have finished collections of both U.S. state quarter series (the original set from 1999-2009 and the "America the Beautiful" set from 2010-2021). I also have a single can of every flavor released by the GHOST energy drink brand.
Music - Both of my parents are Gen-Xers, so I was raised almost exclusively on music from the '70s and '80s. I also like ambient electronica and synthwave.
Speedrunning - Since January 2020, I have owned the world record speedrun time for the DS version of SpongeBob's Truth or Square.
