Lerita

Lerita, also known by its screen name starfruit_SR, is a character created by me. It is the sixth character in my OC canon.

Lerita was created out of a desire to have a speedrunning-inspired character, as I was deeply into the activity at the time. Over time, Lerita's character focus drifted away from being exclusively speedrun-focused into more of a variety Twitch streamer. Lerita was created in tandem with Dakota, a character of Allister's creation.

Lerita as it is depicted was designed by myself.

Character lore

Lerita first joined Twitch shortly after its 16th birthday, and began streaming speedruns of Super Mario 64, particularly the 120 star category. Its presence on the site regularly grew over the next few years, and Lerita became a Twitch partner as starfruit_SR at age 19. After becoming the first to achieve a sub-1:40 in 120 star, Lerita's following exploded to such magnitude that it suffered a brief creator breakdown.

Lerita first met its current roommate and streaming partner, Dakota (GlitzerPOP), at a streaming convention; the two of them bonded over mutual interests and eventually moved into an apartment together. Dakota serves as a moderator in Lerita's stream chat, and vice versa. Lerita's typical streams occur nightly from Thursday to Monday, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays taken off for personal obligations.
